Burnley manager Owen Coyle believes Mark Randall showed his true potential in Tuesday's win over Coventry.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who signed on loan from Arsenal in the January transfer window, came on as a second- half substitute in the 2-0 win.

Coyle told BBC Radio Lancashire: "He's shown when he's on form he can play.

"He's got a natural flow to his play, a great eye for a pass and we think we can enhance his game and he can go back to Arsenal a better player."

We know that if we're at our best we can match anybody

The Clarets are at home to Watford on Saturday and Coyle feels the midweek victory, which moved them to within two points of a Championship play-off spot, can spur them on even further.

"The Championship fluctuates so quickly and it provides an opportunity to go and win home games back-to-back.

"They don't come any tougher than Watford. They have some terrific players and are expected to go back up to the Premier League at the first time of asking. But we know that if we're at our best we can match anybody."
