Steve Cotterill has left his post as manager of Championship side Burnley by mutual consent. The 43-year-old who succeeded Stan Ternent in the summer of 2004, leaves the club 15th in the table after a run of just one win in their last 10 games.
BBC Radio Lancashire understands that assistant boss Steve Davis is in charge for Saturday's trip to Leicester.
