Burnley have bolstered their injury-hit defence with the signing of Sheffield Wednesday's Graham Coughlan on loan. Coughlan, 32, has joined the Clarets until the end of the season.
The former Plymouth central defender had been out of the first-team picture at Wednesday in recent weeks following injury and a family bereavement.
Coughlan had asked for a temporary move from Hillsborough and got his wish after being watched in a reserve team game by Cotterill on Tuesday night.
