Cotterill has guided Burley to 10th in the Championship |
Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has ruled himself out of the vacant job at Leicester City. The Foxes made an approach to speak to the former Cheltenham and Stoke manager but Cotterill said he is staying at Turf Moor.
He said: "I'd like to thank Leicester for approaching me but a lot has been built here in the last 18 months.
"I have a great relationship with the chairman and supporters of our club and I'm staying."
Cotterill spent six months with the Foxes during the 2003/04 season when he was coach under Micky Adams.
Leicester are currently being managed by Rob Kelly and goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell.
