The Belfast-born Northern Ireland Under-19 international, 18, has agreed a deal which keeps him at Turf Moor until the summer of 2008.

He made his debut as a substitute on the opening day of this season, and has since made four more appearances from the bench for the Clarets.

"We're happy that he's signed and that he can be part of the squad moving forward," boss Steve Cotterill said.
