O'Connor, who moved in the day's biggest transfer, spent three months on loan with Burnley earlier this season.

"I'm delighted to come back and it was a great spell earlier in the season," O'Connor told Burnley's website.

"I thought it went really well and that's obviously played a huge part in me coming here now."
