Burnley keeper Brian Jensen has welcomed the competition for his position sparked by the loan arrival of Paul Rachubka. Jensen is the Clarets' only senior keeper, and has started every game.
Rachubka's arrival will put pressure on Jensen, who said: "I've needed competition ever since I started here.
"You automatically seem to do a little better when there is more competition, it's nice to have someone breathing down your neck."
Jensen has kept three clean sheets in Burnley's last five games.
He said: "So far this year things have gone brilliantly.
"The whole team is doing well and if we keep the clean sheets coming we will get something out of every game.
"The FA Cup wins have helped, but now we want things to be the other way around. It's always nice to win in the cup, but personally the league games are the most important thing."
