Midfielders Aaron Lescott and Stuart Campbell have signed extensions to their Bristol Rovers contracts that will keep them at the club until 2010.

Lescott, 29, and Campbell, 30, arrived at the Memorial Stadium in 2004, from Stockport and Grimsby respectively.

Rovers manager Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "Both have played huge parts in the last few years.

"They deserve it - they have been consistent performers in the first team and they set an excellent example."

Lescott and Campbell have both played in more than 30 league games for each of the past three seasons.

Both men agreed to further one-year contract extensions after having signed similar deals last season.
