Bristol Rovers have been dealt a second injury blow in three days after on-loan midfielder Jeff Hughes suffered suspected ankle ligament damage.
Hughes, who joined Rovers from Crystal Palace last week, was carried off in the reserves' game against Cheltenham on Monday, minutes after scoring.
The 22-year-old could now miss the rest of the season and joins fellow loan signing Wayne Andrews on the sidelines.
Striker Andrews may also miss the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.
