Bristol Rovers defender Steve Elliott says he enjoyed his comeback in the 2-2 draw against Swansea on Monday.

Elliott returned to first team action after recovering from an injury picked up against Fulham two months ago.

He told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's been frustrating but there's nothing I can do about it. I wasn't fit enough and I wasn't ready."

"Hopefully this result now will kick us on, we'll get a few more wins and start getting up the table."

Rovers are 18th in League One, although they have games in hand on their rivals.
