Bristol Rovers head coach Paul Trollope insists their 2-2 FA Cup draw at Fulham has given them the belief they can win the replay.

Rovers twice led the Premier League side and Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "Hopefully in the replay we can produce another good performance.

"They will still be favourites and we will still be underdogs because of their Premier League experience.

"But I think we have taken a bit of belief that maybe we can do it."

Rovers defender Danny Coles opened the scoring at Craven Cottage, with Craig Hinton putting the Pirates back in front after David Healy equalised.

But Coles insisted there was nothing they could have done about Danny Murphy's second equaliser for Roy Hodgson's side.

"I didn't see the goal go in," said Coles. "I was tracking a runner and as I turned round the ball went zooming past my head and into the top corner.

"That is the difference in the Premier League. They have a player in Danny Murphy who is quality and there are certain things you can't do anything about.

"Steve Phillips reckons he could have done something better with it but it was a fantastic strike with lots of power behind it."
