Trialist Rose cut loose by Rovers
Bristol Rovers
Former Manchester United youngster Danny Rose has been let go by Bristol Rovers, where he had been on trial.

The 19-year-old midfielder was released by the Red Devils this summer, but learned on Friday that he would not be offered a contract by the Pirates.

He did not feature for United's first team but spent the second half of last season on loan at Oxford.

"His attitude was spot on, but he doesn't quite suit what we need," boss Paul Trollope told Rovers' website.
