Hodges has experience from managing Torquay and Plymouth |
Kevin Hodges is looking forward to the challenge of his new job as director of youth at Bristol Rovers. The former Plymouth and Torquay boss had a spell as assistant manager to Steve Thompson at Yeovil last season.
"I don't think Yeovil would be where they are now if not for Steve, myself and the players keeping the club in League One," he told Rovers' website.
"It's that kind of experience I want to take into this job - I feel I have a lot to offer on a number of fronts."
Director of football Lennie Lawrence added: "We've been trying to get Kevin in for a long time.
"He left Yeovil at the end of last season which was a complicated situation, but it's all been resolved now.
"Kevin will be in charge of the reserve team, because that is mainly youth players and those under the age of 21, but he will oversee all other aspects at the club on the youth side."
