Bristol Rovers have signed Steve Phillips from rivals Bristol City. The 28-year-old goalkeeper made more than 250 league appearances for City in nine years, but was placed on the transfer list last season.
Rovers' first-team coach Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "We're delighted to get him on board. We felt we needed another keeper on board."
"We had no reservations about signing him from Bristol City, we think he's a quality player - that's what matters."
