Bristol Rovers have signed former Derby County and Blackpool central defender Steve Elliott. The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Rovers.
Elliott made 72 first-team appearances for Derby, but last season was loaned out to Blackpool and then in February signed permanently for the Seasiders.
However, Elliott has been persuaded by Pirates management duo Ian Atkins and Kevan Broadhurst to move to Rovers in return for first-team football.
