Rose is an England Under-21 international

Bristol City have been hit by the news that on-loan winger Danny Rose will be out for at least another fortnight.

The Tottenham player, 20, has been out since before Christmas with an injury affecting his back and hamstring.

Robins boss Keith Mullen told the City website: "He's clearly got a problem and we have to be guided by our medical team and the Tottenham medical team.

"If it does flare up again then the worst case scenario is surgery and we don't want to go down that route."

Rose, who scored a memorable goal on his Spurs debut against Arsenal last season, has been receiving treatment at his parent club.
