Trundle has endured a tough time since his move to Bristol City
Bristol City striker Lee Trundle will use Saturday's match against Swansea City to say goodbye to his former club.
The 32-year-old faces the Swans for the first time since leaving for Ashton Gate in a 1m move 16 months ago.
The Liverpudlian, a fans' favourite in south Wales for his showboating, scored more than 20 goals in each of his four seasons at Swansea.
"I never got a chance to say goodbye because it (the move) was done pre-season," Trundle told BBC Wales.
"Hopefully I will get a good reception because Swansea is a club that I love and the fans meant a big part for me."
One hundred per cent, there's no way that I'd ever celebrate if I scored... I love Swansea City

Trundle has struggled to secure a regular first-team place at Bristol City in his time there.
This season, he has started just four games with his two goals coming from the bench.
"It's been tough," he added. "I've been in and out of the side this season.
"I've only started four games and played in different positions and it has been hard."
But injuries to strikers Dele Adebola (dead leg) and Stern John (ankle) could open the door for Trundle in a Bristol City side struggling to find the form that took them to last season's Championship play-off final.
The Robins have slipped to 14th in the Championship after winning just one of their last eight games.
And at home, they have won two out of their 10 games and drawn six.
Should Trundle play and score, he insists there will be no goal celebrations.
"One hundred per cent, there's no way that I'd ever celebrate if I scored," he said.
"It would be walk back to the halfway line and start again.
"As a professional footballer, you have to do a job, but that doesn't stop you having feelings.
"I love Swansea City as a club so there's no way that I'd rub it in to the fans that have meant so much to me."
But Trundle knows it will be a tough task against Swansea who arrive at Ashton Gate in eighth place, having lost only once in their last six league games.
"They are doing really well but I always knew that that would be the case," he said.
"They like to get the ball down and play football. That's the way Roberto [Martinez] has got them playing and I know they will do well this year."
