Bristol City have rejected a bid from Carlisle for defender Richard Keogh. The 21-year-old has been on loan with the Cumbrians and impressed the League One side sufficiently for them to table an offer to make the deal permanent.
But Robins boss Gary Johnson said it was not enough to tempt them to sell their current young player of the year.
"Carlisle offered us a fee but it's nowhere near our valuation and it means he's coming back to Ashton Gate," Johnson told the City website.
