Revenge is sweet for Robins boss
Gary Johnson
Gary Johnson was delighted with Bristol City's victory over Ipswich
Bristol City manager Gary Johnson praised his side's character following their 2-0 win over Ipswich.

Goals from Marvin Elliott and Bradley Orr exacted revenge for City's 6-0 defeat at Ipswich last month.

"It's quite a turnaround in a few weeks and I'm proud of the lads for their first half performance," said Johnson.

"They didn't need any incentive after being beaten so heavily and right from the start there was a great level of commitment."

Johnson added: "Unfortunately, it was so intense that some legs went in the second half, but then we defended bravely and our goalkeeper did a great job.

"Overall, I'm thrilled with the performance and the fact that we have consolidated our position among the Championship leaders."
