Bristol City captain Louis Carey and fellow defender Jamie McCombe have signed new deals which will keep them at the club until June 2009. Carey, 30, was set to be out of contract next month.
McCombe, 24, has signed an extension to his contract following his arrival from Lincoln last summer.
"Louis has been a stalwart this season. He's played a good number of games and now we have extended his deal," boss Gary Johnson told the club website.
