Bristol City midfielder Alex Russell has signed a new one-year deal. The 34-year-old played 38 times in City's promotion-winning campaign and this triggered a clause to extend his deal for a further 12 months.
Chairman Steve Lansdown said: "Alex played a key part in the team's promotion to the Championship and deserves to play at a higher level."
Russell added: "I'm delighted to get it sorted and am looking forward to playing in the Championship."
