Bristol City insist the decision on Marcus Stewart's proposed move to Yeovil lies with the striker himself. Yeovil are keen to sign Stewart, 34, following his recent loan spell at Huish Park.
City chairman Steve Lansdown told the Bristol Evening Post: "It's down to Marcus to decide where he wants to be.
"We are still having conversations but the real essence is it's up to Marcus to decide what he wants to do."
Stewart's City contract expires at the end of the season.
