Bristol City defender Bradley Orr has signed a new two-year contract. Orr, 23, signed from Newcastle United two years ago as a central midfielder, but impressed at right-back under Gary Johnson last season.
"I'm absolutely delighted to get the contract signed and I'm really looking forward to the start of the season," Orr told BBC Bristol.
"Thankfully the manager has seen enough in me to know I'm worthy of a new contract. That's a big achievement."
Orr says Johnson's arrival has given everyone at the club a big lift: "He's come in and got everyone pulling in the right direction, and we've improved vastly since he's been here.
"There's a good squad of players here so I've got to knuckle down and make sure I'm in the team at the start of the season."
Chairman Steve Lansdown added : "Bradley was a good performer for us last season and showed great promise at right-back and he's a great person in the dressing room.
"Gary Johnson was full of praise for his efforts last season and wanted him back on board."
