Australian midfielder Luke Wilkshire appears to have played his last game for Bristol City after not returning for pre-season training. Manager Gary Johnson told the club website: "We congratulate Luke on playing in the World Cup finals and wish him well for the future.
"He is a free agent and can arrange a transfer without consulting us."
The 24-year-old joined the Robins from Middlesbrough in 2003 for �250,000 and made 103 appearances for City.
