Bristol City boss Gary Johnson will release five players when their current deals run out in the summer. Clayton Fortune, Jamie Smith, Nathan Abbey, Bas Savage and Ryan Harley must all find fresh clubs.
Johnson told the club's website: "The list of players leaving is not complete as I still have to talk to one or two."
Loanees Mark McCammon and Adam Green have also not been offered permanent contracts and have returned to Brighton and Fulham respectively.
