Rosenoir is the son of Torquay boss Leroy |
Bristol City have grudgingly accepted a 55,000 compensation fee from Fulham over the transfer of Liam Rosenior.
Utility player Rosenior came through the ranks at Ashton Gate and was a regular member of the side who just failed to achieve promotion to Division One last season.
He was offered a new deal by the club, but expressed his wish to leave in the summer and subsequently started training with Fulham.
Rosenior, son of Torquay United boss Leroy, had previously had trials with West Ham and Chelsea .
Robins' chairman Steve Lansdown said: "This is not a satifactory outcome.
"But it is a commercial decision bearing in mind the Football League tribunal's decision that we were not entitled to any compensation.
"But we are pleased that it has been recognised that we should be recompensed for our investment in Liam," he told the club's website.
"It also shows we were justified in standing our ground.
"As a result of the settlement, we have passed on Liam's registration to Fulham.
"He is now their player and, hopefully, will go on to have a successful career."
As a result of the settlement, City have dropped their appeal against the tribunal which said the club were not entitled to a pay-off.
Meanwhile, City youngster Danny Coles has signed a one-year contract extension.
