Brighton have lost the versatile Adam El-Abd for at least a month because of damaged medial knee ligaments.

The 23-year-old was carried off for the play-off hopefuls during a 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield on Tuesday and a scan revealed the damage.

Dean Wilkins told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "Its a massive blow, especially as he's been playing so well.

"We've called a meeting to discuss what we're going do. We will now do everything we can to bring someone in."
