Murray helped Carlisle to two promotions (Getty) |
Brighton striker Glenn Murray says he bears no grudges as he prepares to go back to Carlisle on Saturday for the first time since leaving Brunton Park. Murray made one substitute appearance for the Cumbrians in League One before dropping down a division with Rochdale.
"There's no point to prove, I'd just like three points for Brighton," Murray told BBC Southern Counties Radio.
"Carlisle progressed too quickly for me with back to back promotions. It was too big a step."

Murray has swiftly adjusted to life back in League One and was named as the division's Player of the Month for February.
He believes Brighton are showing impressive resilience as they look for a play-off place.
"We're getting into a rhythm of not losing - no matter when the opposition score.
"We got a late draw with Orient and put four on Gillingham when they took the lead."
