Hinshelwood has been unlucky with injuries |
Brighton defender Adam Hinshelwood faces nine months out after receiving confirmation he needs knee surgery for the second time in two years. Hinshelwood, 23, limped out of the Boxing day defeat to Yeovil and will need a second operation to repair cruciate ligament damage.
He was out for 11 months after similar damage to the same knee in March 2005.
Club physio Malcolm Stuart told the Brighton Argus: "He'll have to undergo another cruciate reconstruction."
