Brighton boss Mark McGhee has warned Colin Kazim-Richards that he expects more from the former Bury striker after their opening game of the season. Kazim-Richards came on as a 57th-minute substitute when Albion were down to 10 men - but he was himself substituted by Jake Robinson before the final whistle.
"I was disappointed - at the stage the game was at, Colin needed to do more," McGhee told BBC Southern Counties.
"Alex Revell has given him competition for his place after pre-season."
