McCammon has "differences" with boss Mark McGhee |
Brighton striker Mark McCammon has told BBC Southern Counties Radio he has "differences" with boss Mark McGhee. "He wants me to go to a lower league team and I think I'm better than that," the 27-year-old said.
"I went on trial at Watford, got called back on the Friday and I felt a bit hard done by. I'm now back at Brighton and not in the squad."
The ex-Millwall man had called the BBC phone-in after host Ian Hart said he was not worth a place in the side.

McCammon fumed: "Until you kick a ball in professional football, you can't tell me I'm not good enough for this standard. I think what you said is very disrespectful. "I've had surgery on ankle and knee injuries, and had three first-team starts - you need seven or eight games to get your rhythm back."
McCammon also called for patience from supporters - and wants them to be more positive to help them avoid the drop.
He added: "The supporters are very, very important - players listen to this - and there is something called confidence. We need them to get behind the team.
"We hear supporters whingeing and if they get behind us it gives the players an extra boost.
"I think we are good enough to stay in this league - but as a team we're not creating chances at the moment."
