Henderson impressed during a loan spell at Brighton |
Brighton expect to complete the signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Wayne Henderson for a fee of about 30,000. The Republic of Ireland Under-21 player had a successful loan spell with the Seagulls earlier this season and is discussing personal terms.
Albion boss Mark McGhee is also after a striker and central midfielder and has a little money to spend after selling Leon Knight to Swansea for 125,000.
"We do have one or two targets," he told BBC Southern Counties Radio.
"The money's going to be thinly spread and we're going to have to be imaginative.
"We've got to bring in players better than we have already - we need a different type of striker."
