Brighton have completed the signing of former Wycombe and Shrewsbury winger Darren Currie on a one-year deal. The 29-year-old, who left Wanderers at the end of last season, also had a spell on trial with Colchester.
Albion boss Mark McGhee, who also wants Chelsea's Alexis Nicolas on loan, told BBC SCR: "Darren has skills comparable with any player at this level.
"He now has to apply them to a team situation. If he looks good but doesn't win us games he's no good to me."
