Brentford have completed the signing of Reading central defender Alan Bennett on an initial one-month loan.

Bennett, 26, spent the final 11 games of last season with the Bees having previously completed a half season loan with Southampton.

Brentford have also signed Bristol City defender James Wilson and midfielder Frankie Artus on one-month loan deals.

Meanwhile Tottenham have recalled defender Leigh Mills, 19, from his season-long loan with the Bees.

Mills played in six of Brentford's seven pre-season friendlies.

Wilson and Artus, both 19, played in the Bees pre-season victory at Woking last Saturday.

Neither player has made a League appearance but Artus played 10 games in the Blue Square Premier last season while on loan with Exeter City.
