Brentford boss Martin Allen has given free transfers to Michael Dobson, Ricky Newman, Scott Fitzgerald and Paul Brooker after their play-off defeat. He has also told George Bankole, Eddie Hutchinson, Junior Lewis and Marcus Gayle he cannot offer them new deals now but will talk to them this summer. Allen also said he will keep Jay Tabb, if the player's wish to play at a higher level does not materialise. And he wants to offer new contracts to Kevin O'Connor and Michael Turner.
