Brentford have re-signed former Bees star Marcus Gayle on a free transfer from Watford on a non-contract basis. The veteran 34-year-old striker made 156 league appearances for Brentford between 1988 and 1994.
Boss Martin Allen told the club's website he had also agreed to sign Watford striker Scott Fitzgerald, currently on loan at Griffin Park.
The Bees have also signed 18-year-old Ipswich defender Jerrome Sobers on loan until the end of the season.
