The duo have both joined the Bees on free transfers, Rankin after he was released by Grimsby and Sodje following a two-year spell at Margate.

"Isaiah is quick and has self-belief. He will get goals and become a crowd favourite," said boss Martin Allen.

"Sam is an excellent man-marker with pace and is very strong in the air, and he is hungry to succeed," Allen told the club's official website.
