Bradford City boss Stuart McCall is running his eye over Estonian international Jevgeni Novikov.
The 29-year-old midfielder will feature in Saturday's friendly at York City as he attempts to earn a deal.
Novikov has played in the top flight in Ukraine, Russia and Latvia as well as in his native Estonia, where he currently features for JK Nomme Kalju.
He has 13 international caps and has won the Estonian league title twice with Flora Tallinn in 2001 and 2002.
