Bradford City are looking to extend the contract of veteran striker Peter Thorne for next season.

The 34-year-old, who has scored 12 goals this season, will become a free agent in the summer when his current deal expires.

"Hopefully we'll be in this week to tie up Thorney," City boss McCall told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus.

"There's no doubt in my mind that he'd have 20 goals by now if he'd been fit all season."
