Ashikodi scored on his Watford debut in the FA Cup |
Bradford caretaker boss David Wetherall has signed Watford striker Moses Ashikodi on a month's loan. The Nigeria-born England Under-19 international, 19, joined Watford from Rangers for a nominal fee in January.
"I didn't know (Watford boss) Aidy Boothroyd was a Bradford lad but it was one of the first things he mentioned," Wetherall told the Telegraph & Argus.
"Moses has frightening pace and the knack of getting goals. If he can do that for us he will be a great asset."
Ashikodi became the youngest player in Millwall's history when he made his debut aged 15, has also had spells with West Ham and Gillingham.
He has made a total of 13 first-team appearances but is still awaiting his first league start.
Meanwhile, fellow striker Bruce Dyer has returned to Doncaster after completing a month-long loan at Valley Parade.
