Forrest won the club's goal of the season award |
Bradford City chairman Gordon Gibb has eased fears surrounding the future of the club's promising striker Danny Forrest. Forrest has not signed a professional contract offered to him by Bradford but Gibb is confident of holding onto the 18-year-old.
Forrest has one-year left on his scholarship at Valley Parade and that can be extended to another two seasons.
"Fans should be comfortable in the knowledge that even if he doesn't sign, Danny will be here for the next three years," Gibb told the club's official website.
"The minimum we can expect are his contractual limitations which is the next three seasons."
Meanwhile, former Bradford defender Robert Molenaar - released at the end of last season - is set to sign for Dutch club RBC Roosendaal.
