Krasner is confident of selling the Dean Court club |
Bournemouth's administrator Gerald Krasner is still confident of selling the cash-strapped Dorset club, who have been in administration for two weeks. The former Leeds United chairman revealed he expects to have a clearer picture of what will happen to the Cherries by the end of March.
Krasner told BBC Radio Solent: "We keep sending out confidentiality agreements, there's a lot of interested parties.
"We are still optimistic we'll get a sale out of this," he added.
Meanwhile, Dorset property magnate Eddie Mitchell is stepping up his own takeover bid.
The 53-year-old, who currently owns Blue Square South strugglers Dorchester Town, previously declared his interest in buying the Cherries.
And he told BBC Radio Solent he was "more positive" about the situation than at the time of his first interest.
Mitchell's advisors have been working on a deal, and he will hold a meeting with them after the weekend.
Mitchell could link up with Cherries chairman Jeff Mostyn, who has also declared his interest in being part of a consortium to take the club forward.
Meanwhile, Mitchell's friend and fellow Sandbanks resident Harry Redknapp - the Portsmouth manager and former Cherries boss - has also pledged to help save the club and indicated he would be willing to join a consortium.
