Sheringham is talking to clubs in America |
Veteran striker Teddy Sheringham will not be joining League One side Bournemouth, according to his agent. Newspaper reports had claimed that the 41-year-old, who has been released by West Ham, wanted to continue his career at Dean Court.
However, his agent Barry Neville told BBC Radio Solent: "There have been no discussions with Bournemouth and there is no offer on the table from them.
"We're currently talking to teams in America and other countries."
Neville added: "There is no guarantee Teddy will stay in England. It is still very early days."
Sheringham knows Cherries boss Kevin Bond from their time together at Portsmouth, where Bond was assistant to Harry Redknapp.
