Bournemouth have signed centre-back Russell Perrett, following his release by League One rivals Luton. The 34-year-old, who was freed by the Hatters earlier this week, has been secured on a one-year deal.
He made 99 league appearances for Luton, playing in two promotion-winning sides, after joining them in 2001.
Perrett, who began his career at non-league Lymington, also played for Portsmouth from 1996 to 1999 before moving on to Cardiff for �10,000.
He was born in Barton-on-Sea, just along the south coast from Bournemouth.
