O'Driscoll was disappointed with the Cherries' display |
Bournemouth boss Sean O'Driscoll had little to cheer about after they lost 3-0 to Chesterfield on the opening day. "It was as poor as we'd played here for as long as I can remember," he said.
"We spoke about certain things at half-time, but they might as well have stayed out there as they didn't do what we asked them to do.
"To be fair, they changed the system themselves, but never communicated it to the rest of the team, so it was a bit shambolic at times."
O'Driscoll added that midfielder Marcus Browning's early substitution came after he pulled a calf muscle.
"I'd imagine he'd be out for a couple of weeks, although we'll know more tomorrow," he said.
"I looked at my watch, and it was just seven minutes in. Marcus had done every session in pre-season, so it was a bit of deja vu."
