Coutts had been out for three weeks with German measles |
Midfielder James Coutts was pleased to mark his return from a bout of German measles by scoring in Bournemouth's friendly against Christchurch. The 18-year-old had been sidelined by the illness for three weeks.
"The first 15 minutes were a bit tough, but after that I started to enjoy myself," he told the club website.
"I am probably a couple of weeks off being fully match fit, but with players coming back, there is even competition for a place on the bench."
The Cherries won the game 5-1, with Dani Rodrigues (2), Stephen Cooke and an own goal providing the other goals against their Wessex League neighbours.
Defenders Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall also continued their comebacks from injury by completing the full 90 minutes.
