Feeney could leave Cherries
Warren Feeney
Feeney is out of contract at Dean Court
Bournemouth chairman Peter Phillips has admitted striker Warren Feeney could leave the club this summer.

Stockport head a list of clubs ready to lure the out-of-contract striker with more lucrative offers than the cash-strapped Cherries can afford.

Phillips told BBC Radio Solent: "There are other clubs definitely interested in him. Stockport is one of them.

"They're prepared to pay him significantly more than we can so he's got to take an interest."

Phillips added: "He's got to look around. I know he doesn't want to leave, he's a great favourite of the fans - we're all hoping he'll stay but he's in a difficult position.

"If he chooses to move on and try to build his career somewhere else well, good luck to him."
