Midfielder Fabrice Muamba signs new Bolton contract
Muamba joined Bolton from Birmingham two years ago
Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba has committed his future to the club by signing a new four-year deal.
The 22-year-old has become a key player for Bolton since joining from Birmingham two years ago.
"I am happy, my family's happy, everyone is happy," he told the Wanderers website.
"The club has been very good to me since the moment I signed here. I don't have any reason to want to move and I'm looking forward to the new season."
The former Arsenal youth team player and England Under-21 international was signed by previous Bolton boss Gary Megson but has made a big impact on new manager Owen Coyle.
"He's a great young prospect and I'm delighted he's signed an extended contract. He loves being at the club, I like working with him and hopefully we can move on together."
