Bolton midfielder Abdoulaye Faye has signed a permanent deal that will keep him at the club until 2008. The 27-year-old Senegal international joined the Trotters on loan from French side Lens in the summer.
But he told the club's website: "Sam Allardyce and Bolton Wanderers have given me the opportunity to resurrect my career.
"To earn a permanent contract is a dream come true and the challenge is to continue my progression."
Bolton had to make Faye's contract permanent once he had made 10 first-team appearances.
And boss Sam Allardyce was delighted to secure the player's future at The Reebok.
He said: "Abdoulaye Faye has been one of the finds in the Premiership this season.
"He joined us on loan in the summer and with his sheer determination and ability he has forced his way into the team.
"He is arguably our most consistent player of the season so far and loves the physicality of the Premiership."
