Blackpool defender Neal Eardley has signed a new one-year contract with the option for a further 12 months.
The 22-year-old joined the Championship club in 2009 for an undisclosed fee from Oldham Athletic.
Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Keith Southern have both rejected new terms but Ian Holloway is hopeful chairman Karl Oyston can secure their services.
The manager said: "He's made them a decent offer, he believes, and I'm sure we can sort it out."
All three players took heavy pay cuts following relegation from the Premier League.
"They're good lads, good players and their contracts are up next summer and I think it makes sense to re-sign them now," Holloway added.
"But the chairman makes those decisions and I'm sure we can sit down and talk.
"I'd rather sit down with him and the two lads in question because it's been going on too long now."
